Prime Time is an informal social group for gay and bisexual men over 40. Group meetings take place in Edinburgh and Glasgow at Gay Men's Health. The Edinburgh group meets on the first and third Sunday of every month from 2pm - 4pm and the Glasgow group meets monthly on Sunday afternoon (see contact info below for dates). There is no formal membership or joining process – just turn up at a meeting and you will be made very welcome. The groups also arrange social events like trips to the theatre or places of interest etc.

Prime Time Edinburgh recently had a talk and presentation on bowel cancer with an opportunity to discuss symptoms, treatment, screening and risk factors with representatives of Bowel Cancer UK. It was a very interesting and informative afternoon.

After a hilarious evening with Prime Time Edinburgh at les Ballets Trockaderos de Monte Carlo, John was moved to to give us a rendition on the bodhran accompanying Steve on guitar at the Royal Oak pub!

Recently Prime Time Edinburgh held our annual Winter Dinner at the Parliament House Hotel attended by 10 members. An evening of fine dining was enjoyed by all.

Our next social event is an evening at the Festival Theatre with Les Ballets Tockaderos de Monte Carlo.

Christmas Time

Just a suggestion, as Boxing Day is on the Sunday that Prime is due to meet, I shall be opening up 10 Union Street that afternoon for an afternoon tea.
You will be welcome to come along and bring a friend is you wish.

PRIME TIME EDINBURGH

This Sunday, 28th November will be a Film Afternoon featuring the original screen version of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', Oscar Wilde's only published novel.

Come along at 2pm for coffee and informal chat before the film. The afternoon will finish at approx 4pm.

Future Events

Last Sunday we had time on reminiscing about when we had when were in the forces.
Some of were conscripted and some were not.
Amazing the goings on!
Yes there is an interest in films, and the next is Metropolis. It seems the nostalgia for black and white is going to be popular, the film 'Victim" would be appreciated too.
Lined up is a visit to the LYCEUM to The Importance of Being Ernest 22nd October the Performance which is £5.
But watch this Space as the TROCKS are coming in April 2011.

PRIME TIME ON THE CANAL

Prime Time Edinburgh is organising a boat trip on the Union canal on Saturday 5th June. The barge leaves from Ratho at 3pm and the trip lasts approx 2 hours. Refreshments are provided. For further information contact John on 0131 556 1309.
